Individual and Group Retreats
Retreats
The need
for prayer and a time of reflection is clear from human experience. Jesus
went away to pray and taught his disciples to do so. The Benedictine Pastoral
Center offers individual retreats and several types of one day group retreats
both large and small. Since we have a small guest house, overnight retreats
are limited to individuals or a small group of 4-5. We have only 7
guest rooms and many times one or two of those are being used by other guests.
Individual retreats may be in conjunction with daily spiritual direction
or can be a time of solitude with no facilitator or director. Confirmation
retreats usually take place at the Monastery, but can also take place at
the school or parish. Retreats can be led by BPC staff or your own
designee, or a combination of both.
Student Retreats
For student groups, the BPC offers an extensive, facilitated, day-long retreat
program for confirmation classes.

Adult Retreats
For adult groups, BPC hosts faculty retreats prior to the start of the school
year, and will work with other groups upon request.

Use of the guesthouse during the day or overnight will involve a donation
of $35.00 per night, which includes meals. The cost of spiritual direction
is extra but averages $50.00 per hour (on a sliding scale).
