LECTIO DIVINA and CENTERING PRAYER

The prayerful reading of scripture (lectio divina) leads participants into Centering Prayer,* a method of opening ourselves to God’s presence. From listening, to reflection and sharing, to prayer and resting in stillness, we gather in the conviction that the Holy One is present and will touch our hearts through the living Spirit.

Everyone is welcome at any or all of these bi-weekly gatherings—neither experience nor preparation is needed, simply a willingness to let go of distractions, be still, and “wait for the Lord.” Prayer is led by Sr. Charlotte Lee, OSB.

Meets in the Living Room on first and third Tuesdays beginning September 2, 10:00 a.m.—noon. Voluntary donation.
