THERE IS NO VACCINE FOR GRIEF
Saturday, May 15, 2021
10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Join Sister Kathy Persson, OSB, for an interactive on-line workshop exploring the different aspects of grief and anxiety. A Licensed Clinical Social Worker Sister Kathy has worked in the field of grief counseling for many years. As a Benedictine Sister, she brings a spiritual presence to her work that distinguishes it beyond the clinical.
Anxiety and grief have many causes and are experienced by everyone at some point. Restrictions on physical contact and movement imposed by the pandemic have significantly impacted how we experience grief and anxiety. Just as everyone experiences grief differently, the tools for processing and healing are varied. Spend the day learning what grief is and isn’t, coping tools for the impact of the pandemic, and defining what you need to grieve and ultimately move forward.
Suggested donation: $20
